Tracy Cortez Withdraws from UFC Tampa Fight

Cortez clarified on Twitter that she had informed the UFC weeks prior about her inability to fight in December. This match, initially set for July, was rearranged after Cortez stepped in to fight Rose Namajunas, a bout she lost in July. With Cortez sidelined, the UFC is seeking a replacement for Maverick, who is looking to extend her win streak. Cortez, who holds a record of 11-2, has not fought since her loss to Namajunas and aims to return to the Octagon early next year.
