Kejriwal Supports Abdullah, Celebrates AAP Victory in J&K

Arvind Kejriwal, leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has offered support to Omar Abdullah, the chief minister-designate of Jammu and Kashmir, advising him to seek guidance if he encounters challenges due to the limited powers of his 'half-state' governance structure. This advice follows the AAP's first electoral victory in Jammu and Kashmir, where Mehraj Malik won the Doda constituency, marking a significant achievement for the party. Kejriwal criticized the BJP for failing to provide free electricity despite hydroelectric resources and highlighted similar governance constraints faced in Delhi. He expressed hope that Malik would be given a ministerial role in Abdullah's government, reinforcing AAP's influence in the region. Kejriwal also took a jab at Prime Minister Modi, suggesting that election results reflect public dissatisfaction with the current central leadership. Omar Abdullah, having secured support from various parties, is expected to be sworn in soon, further establishing his leadership in the newly formed government.
