Two Arrested for Targeted Murder of Kassim Mohammed in Sheffield

A second person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Kassim Mohammed, a 32-year-old father shot dead in Sheffield, with the investigation now being treated as a targeted attack. The woman, aged 31, was detained following the earlier arrest of a 22-year-old man linked to the case. Meanwhile, in Atlanta, Kandice Grace, 32, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree murder and cruelty to children in relation to the death of a juvenile boy earlier this year. In Gibson County, Tennessee, Amanda N. Kegg, 34, was arrested for conspiracy to commit murder in connection with a double homicide that occurred on New Year’s Eve 2024, following the earlier arrest of Michael Kegg Jr. for the murders of Malisa Kegg and Michael Kegg the Third. Authorities in all cases continue to investigate and are seeking any additional information or evidence from the public.
