Wells Fargo Arena Renamed Casey's Center

Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines will be renamed Casey's Center effective July 1, 2025, following a 10-year naming rights partnership with Casey's General Store. The decision comes as Wells Fargo opted not to renew its agreement with the venue, which has served as a major hub for concerts and sporting events since its opening in 2005. Casey's President and CEO Darren Rebelez expressed excitement about the new chapter, stating that the venue holds significant importance for the community. Along with the name change, Casey's will sell their pizza and branded snacks at events, enhancing the fan experience. The Polk County Board of Supervisors is set to vote on the name change, celebrating the arena's 20th anniversary. This partnership marks Casey's first venture into naming rights for such a venue.
