A 29-year-old man was fatally shot in Parramatta early Monday morning, with paramedics unable to save him. Emergency services responded to Harold Street around 3:30am after reports of a shooting. Approximately 15 minutes later, a car fire involving a suspected stolen sedan was reported on A'Beckett Street in nearby Granville. Police are investigating potential links between the shooting and the car fire, both of which are being treated as suspicious. Two men were seen fleeing the scene of the car fire in another vehicle.
