The parachute failed to open as expected during the jump, leading to the fatal incident. The company expressed regret for the closure and thanked staff, customers, and partners for their support over the years, apologizing that they had no other option but to close. Dunkeswell Aerodrome confirmed that this liquidation does not affect other airfield activities, which continue as normal. Inquests into the deaths of Harrison and Taylor have been opened.
