Bournemouth Finalizes Loan Deal for Milan's Alex Jimenez
In the final hours of the transfer window, AC Milan has agreed to send Alex Jimenez on a loan deal to Bournemouth, with an option to buy that could be triggered by certain conditions. The 20-year-old full-back, who can also play as a wing-back or winger, preferred a move to the Premier League over interest from Roma and Como, and his salary will be fully covered by Bournemouth. Milan is reportedly pushing for a permanent transfer worth up to €22-24 million, while Real Madrid retains a buy-back clause on the player. Jimenez, a product of Real Madrid’s academy, has made 34 appearances for Milan but has fallen down the pecking order under coach Max Allegri. The transfer discussions have progressed rapidly, with Bournemouth overtaking other suitors and nearing a full agreement, and Milan has officially informed Real Madrid of the potential deal. Bournemouth is also looking to strengthen its defense with other signings, including talks for Chelsea’s Axel Disasi.
