Builders Find Human Remains Believed Children in Lancashire

Builders working on a property in Cleveland Road, Lytham, Lancashire, discovered human remains that police believe may be those of children. The remains have been confirmed as human and are thought to be part of an isolated historical burial, with no current suspicion of foul play. DI Andrew Crook of West CID described the discovery as incredibly sad and stated that inquiries are ongoing to establish the identity, age, and cause of death of the remains. Police have thanked the homeowners and contractors for their cooperation during the investigation. The remains have been removed from the site, and officers have appealed to the public for any information that could assist in identifying the remains.
