Hard Rock Plans 2028 Hotel, Residences Launch in Ras Al Khaimah UAE

Hard Rock International is partnering with Malta-based db Group and RAK Hospitality Holding (RAKHH) to develop the Hard Rock Hotel & Residences in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, set to open in 2028. Located in the Beach District adjacent to Al Marjan Island on the Arabian Gulf, the luxury project will feature approximately 300 hotel rooms and 395 branded residences, along with diverse dining options, a rooftop bar, event venues, beach club, spa, fitness center, and multiple swimming pools. The development is expected to generate around 500 permanent jobs and aims to position Ras Al Khaimah as a dynamic hub for tourism, leisure, and entertainment, contributing to the emirate's economic diversification and growth. Executives from Hard Rock, db Group, and RAKHH emphasized the strategic collaboration combining local market knowledge, development expertise, and the iconic Hard Rock brand to elevate the region’s luxury hospitality offerings. Although no casino is currently announced, the possibility remains open given the gradual openness in the UAE towards gaming ventures, as seen with Wynn Resorts’ ongoing efforts in Ras Al Khaimah. This project marks Hard Rock's debut in the UAE and reflects a broader push to enhance the emirate’s appeal as a premier lifestyle and tourist destination.
