Rep. Burchett Briefly Hospitalized After Horse Kick

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tennessee) suffered a broken rib and bruising after being accidentally kicked by a horse on his farm over the weekend and was briefly hospitalized before being discharged the same day. The incident was caused by the horse reacting to a horsefly bite. Burchett has continued to maintain a full schedule of district events, with his spokesperson noting he 'hasn't missed a beat' despite the injury. The congressman joked about the accident and thanked others for their concern. Nearly three years ago, Burchett’s daughter experienced a more serious horse-related injury that required a 16-day hospital stay.
