Couple rolls into river

A couple in Philadelphia was forced to escape their sinking Range Rover after it rolled into the Schuylkill River around 4:45 a.m. on Wednesday while they were engaged in sexual activity in the backseat. The woman inadvertently shifted the gear into drive, causing the vehicle to roll off Kelly Drive near the Columbia Bridge. Fortunately, both individuals managed to exit the car before it fully submerged and were unharmed, declining medical treatment when offered. The headlights of the vehicle remained visible underwater until sunrise, prompting police to plan a dive operation for retrieval. This incident follows a similar occurrence less than two weeks prior, where another vehicle ended up in the river but with no occupants found. Local fire crews later recovered the car from the water later that day.
