New 27-Hole Disc Golf Course Opens in Sahuarita

The Orillia Disc Golf Club (ODGC) recently held its winter tournament, Frozen at Tudhope, attracting 21 players despite winter challenges like snow and injury risks. Founded in 2017, the ODGC has grown to over 300 members, with courses catering to both beginners and intermediate players. Meanwhile, Sahuarita, Arizona, is set to open a new disc golf course featuring 27 holes, aimed at enhancing recreational opportunities for both seasoned players and beginners, with a focus on sustainability. This course, the largest in Southern Arizona, has already earned an environmental excellence award. Additionally, disc golf continues to thrive in various communities, with clubs and events promoting the sport as a fun and accessible outdoor activity for all skill levels.
