14-Year-Olds Shot in Miami and Bronx

A 14-year-old boy was shot Saturday night in southwest Miami‑Dade near Southwest 192nd Street and Southwest 113th Place/114th Avenue while walking to a nearby business or to grab dinner; deputies found several spent casings and Miami‑Dade Fire Rescue took the teen to a hospital where he remained in stable condition. Neighbors reported hearing dozens of shots, a car was left riddled with bullets, and local activists urged action to curb gun violence. Separately, investigators released footage of a different northwest Miami‑Dade shooting in which an adult drove himself to the hospital before police arrived. In New York, detectives released images and video of two men wanted for an Oct. 11 Bronx shooting that wounded a 14‑year‑old in the right leg; the suspects fled in a Mercedes SUV and authorities are asking the public to submit tips to NYPD Crime Stoppers.
