Snedeker Named Assistant Captain for Presidents Cup
Brandt Snedeker has been appointed as an assistant captain for the U.S. Presidents Cup team by captain Jim Furyk. Snedeker replaces Keegan Bradley, who was selected as one of Furyk's six captain's picks following his victory at the BMW Championship. Joining a leadership team that includes Stewart Cink, Justin Leonard, and Kevin Kisner, Snedeker brings valuable experience from his participation in previous Presidents Cups and Ryder Cups. Furyk praised Snedeker as a fierce competitor and respected player, highlighting his ability to provide steady leadership and valuable insights. The U.S. team will compete at Royal Montreal from September 26-29, aiming to extend their nine-match winning streak. Snedeker also looks forward to serving as a vice captain for the 2025 Ryder Cup.
