Brandon Graham Rejoins Eagles
Brandon Graham has come out of retirement and officially signed with the Philadelphia Eagles for a 16th NFL season, announcing the move on his “Unblocked” podcast after initially retiring in March following the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory. The 37-year-old is the franchise leader in games played (206) and has 76.5 career sacks (plus 5.5 postseason sacks); GM Howie Roseman had reached out earlier this season. His return addresses an urgent need after the abrupt in-season retirement of Za’Darius Smith and injuries to edge players including Nolan Smith and Azeez Ojulari, as Philadelphia seeks more consistent pass rush. The team, 5-2, signed Graham to bolster both pass-rush depth and locker-room leadership, and he is expected to be fully available by Week 10. Teammates and analysts praised the addition for its combination of experience, energy and emotional lift as the Eagles pursue another deep playoff run.
