Kalki 2898 AD Set for 2025 Japan Release

The Indian sci-fi blockbuster 'Kalki 2898 AD', directed by Nag Ashwin and featuring Prabhas, is set to expand its international reach with releases planned in Japan and Russia in early 2025. The film has grossed over $140 million globally, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024. In Japan, it will be distributed by Twin, which previously released the successful film 'RRR'. A dubbed version is also expected for Russia, and the producers are exploring options for a release in China. A sequel to the film is already in production, with 35% of shooting completed and an anticipated theatrical release in 2027. The film combines elements of Indian mythology and futuristic technology, featuring a cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan alongside Prabhas.
