Sex Pistols Announce First North American Tour Since 2003

The Sex Pistols are set to embark on their first North American tour since 2003, featuring original members Steve Jones, Paul Cook, and Glen Matlock, along with new frontman Frank Carter, starting September 16 in Dallas. This tour will highlight their iconic 1977 album 'Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols' and is part of a celebration of the band's 50th anniversary. Former vocalist John Lydon, also known as Johnny Rotten, will not participate, having distanced himself from the group amid previous controversies and frustrations regarding their legacy. The tour includes stops in major cities like Philadelphia, Toronto, and Los Angeles, concluding on October 16. Pre-sale tickets will be available from April 1, with general sales starting April 4. Carter expressed the band's relevance today, emphasizing the need for punk rock energy in current times.
