Thiago Messi celebrated his 13th birthday with a lavish FC Barcelona–themed party shared by his mother Antonela Roccuzzo on social media, featuring Blaugrana decorations, a Camp Nou backdrop with “Més que un club,” a large Barça crest inflatable and a stadium-shaped cake. Thiago wore Barcelona’s 2024–25 third kit and had a personalised “Thiago 13” shirt on display, underscoring the family’s sentimental attachment to the club. The celebration highlighted that, despite Lionel Messi’s move to Inter Miami, Barcelona remains an emotional presence in the family's life. Off the pitch, Messi recently extended his Inter Miami contract through 2028 and has been in strong playoff form, scoring three goals in two matches as Miami prepares for a decisive Game 3 against Nashville. Thiago also plays for Inter Miami’s U-13 team and has attracted attention for his prolific scoring in youth tournaments.
