Playboi Carti Plans North American Antagonist Tour with Opium Acts

Playboi Carti has announced the Antagonist 2.0 Tour, a headlining North American arena tour supporting his latest album, MUSIC, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The tour kicks off on October 3 in Salt Lake City and concludes with a hometown show in Atlanta on December 1, with stops in major cities including San Francisco, Brooklyn, and Chicago. Opening acts include Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang, and Apollo Red, all part of Carti's Opium Collective. This marks Carti's first solo headline tour since 2021, following a prior 2023 Antagonist Tour that was postponed and eventually canceled due to legal issues and other delays. Tickets go on sale to the public on August 29, with various presales starting August 26. Carti's recent exposure includes opening for The Weeknd on the After Hours Til Dawn Tour, which has been a major commercial success.
