T20 Mumbai League 2025 Announces Mentors Nayar, Mhambrey
The T20 Mumbai League is set to return for its third season after a six-year hiatus, running from May 26 to June 8 at Wankhede Stadium with eight franchises participating. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has unveiled a strong roster of coaches and mentors, with former India cricketers Abhishek Nayar and Paras Mhambrey appointed as mentors for Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals and ARCS Andheri, respectively. Both bring extensive domestic and international coaching experience aimed at nurturing emerging talent. The head coaches for the franchises include Omkar Salvi, Rajesh Pawar, Atul Ranade, Amit Dani, Prashant Shetty, Pravin Tambe, and Vinod Raghvan, with the Namo Bandra Blasters head coach yet to be announced. MCA President Ajinkya Naik emphasized the league's role in empowering local coaches and fostering homegrown talent, aiming to strengthen Mumbai and Indian cricket. The league has previously acted as a launchpad for rising stars and is expected to reignite Mumbai's cricketing fervor.
