Prozeal Green Energy Limited from India and Golyan Power Limited from Nepal have established a joint venture, Prozeal Green Energy Nepal, to develop over 500 MW of solar power projects in Nepal over the next 18 months. The agreement was signed in Kathmandu by directors Shobit Rai and Akshay Golyan, with Prozeal holding a 60% stake and Golyan 40%. This partnership aims to enhance Nepal's renewable energy sector and contribute to a cleaner future, leveraging expertise from both nations to lead global decarbonization efforts. The planned projects will include both rooftop and ground-mounted photovoltaic solar plants, with energy sales directed to the Nepal Electricity Authority and various commercial consumers. Both companies expressed optimism about the collaboration's potential to unlock new opportunities in renewable energy.
