Brie Larson to Star in Elektra in London

Brie Larson, the Oscar-winning actress known for 'Room' and 'Lessons in Chemistry', is set to make her UK stage debut in the Greek tragedy 'Elektra', adapted by Anne Carson and directed by Daniel Fish. The production will begin with a week-long run at the Theatre Royal Brighton from January 13 to January 18, 2025, before moving to the Duke of York's Theatre in London for an 11-week season starting January 24. Larson expressed her excitement about exploring this 'timeless story' and working collaboratively with the creative team. The play follows Elektra and her brother Orestes as they seek vengeance for their father's murder. This marks Larson's return to the stage after her last performance in 2010. The production is being produced by Empire Street Productions, known for their recent successful West End shows.
