The Congress party has announced its fourth list of five candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections, bringing the total to 86 candidates declared so far. The Congress is also engaged in seat-sharing negotiations with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), although discussions have stalled, raising concerns among party leaders. The Haryana Assembly elections are scheduled for October 5, with the final date for filing nominations having just passed. Additionally, the party is yet to announce candidates for four constituencies, heightening speculation about potential last-minute alliances.
