Qventus Raises $105M to Expand AI Healthcare Solutions

Qventus, an AI-based healthcare automation startup, has secured $105 million in Series D funding led by KKR, with significant participation from Bessemer Venture Partners and strategic investors such as Northwestern Medicine, HonorHealth, and Allina Health. The funding, which consists of $85 million in equity and $20 million in optional debt, will aid in expanding Qventus's AI-driven solutions designed to alleviate administrative burdens in healthcare settings. Founded in 2012, Qventus focuses on automating non-clinical tasks and improving operational efficiencies in both inpatient and outpatient environments using generative AI and machine learning. This investment signals the growing interest in AI healthcare solutions, as evidenced by other substantial funding rounds for companies like Innovaccer and Hippocratic AI. The company aims to use the capital to develop additional 'AI teammates' and enhance its existing offerings, such as its Surgical Growth and Inpatient Capacity solutions. CEO Mudit Garg highlighted the startup's significant growth and customer uptake, underscoring the potential for AI to transform healthcare operations.
