Rainfall measurements reached up to 260 mm in Jaisalmer, prompting the deployment of disaster management teams equipped with mud pumps and tankers to assist affected residents. The Meteorological Centre has issued warnings for continued heavy rain, particularly in western Rajasthan, while North Western Railway has suspended or rerouted several trains due to track inundations. Local officials, including Jaisalmer's collector and police superintendent, have been assessing the damages in inundated areas. In addition to these recent events, previous rainfall in the region has led to the opening of dam gates and warnings of potential river overflow. Despite the adverse conditions, certain areas in Rajasthan continue to receive varying levels of rainfall, with alerts in place for several districts.
