Affleck Executive Produced Lopez's 'Kiss of the Spider Woman'

Jennifer Lopez is on a high-profile press tour in New York promoting Kiss of the Spider Woman, her first movie musical, ahead of its October 10, 2025 release. In an exclusive clip she sings Kander and Ebb’s “Her Name Is Aurora,” tangoing in a Technicolor movie-within-a-movie ballroom sequence that features elaborate one-take choreography and a reportedly 50-pound gold gown. Lopez has credited her ex-husband Ben Affleck — who serves as an executive producer and helped finance the roughly $30 million production — saying the film “wouldn’t have been made if it weren’t for him.” She told interviewers the role and production helped her through a difficult personal period and has been discussing the film on TV and podcasts while making multiple New York fashion appearances.
