Severe Storms Hit North America and Europe

Severe storms have caused widespread damage across North America and Europe, affecting regions including Pennsylvania's Susquehanna Valley, metro Atlanta, North Dakota, southern Saskatchewan, Austria, and France. In Pennsylvania, flash flooding and storm damage impacted Lancaster and York counties, while metro Atlanta faced downed trees and road closures. North Dakota experienced more than 700 power outages following Friday night storms. In southern Saskatchewan, golf ball-sized hail damaged gardens, vehicles, and property. Austria suffered a supercell thunderstorm with 2-inch hail and severe agricultural losses estimated at £7.7 million. Similar storms in France resulted in further destruction and at least two fatalities.
