Two Stabbing Incidents in Pennsylvania Reported
In Northeast Philadelphia, a stabbing incident at Castor Gardens Middle School injured two women, aged 63 and 31, who are staff members. The older woman was hospitalized, while the younger refused treatment. A student suspect was taken into custody, and a weapon was recovered. The school went on lockdown, but all students were reported safe, and an investigation is ongoing. Separately, in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania, a man was arrested and charged with aggravated and simple assault for stabbing a man and a woman in a residence on James Street. Both victims of this separate incident suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and there is no threat to the public.
