Kia EV5 SUV Launches in Singapore with New Updates

Kia has launched its first locally assembled electric vehicle in Singapore, the EV5 SUV, which is available exclusively in the local market in three variants tailored to local requirements, with pricing starting from S$194,000 including COE. The EV5 is assembled at the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre Singapore (HMGICS) and offers driving ranges between 400km and 540km. Hyundai Motor Company CEO José Muñoz highlighted the impact of AI, digital connectivity, and the convergence of mobility and energy on the company’s future strategy. In addition, the 2026 Kia EV9 has been updated for the US market with a longer driving range, new features, and compatibility with Tesla’s Supercharger network. These developments reflect the Hyundai Motor Group’s strategy of regional manufacturing, global EV expansion, and leadership in technological innovation.
