Bucks' Doc Rivers Fined Amid Officiating Controversy

Rivers argued that a foul called on Giannis Antetokounmpo in the game's final seconds, which allowed LaMelo Ball to make game-winning free throws, was incorrect, as replays showed Ball tripped on his own. This incident followed a similar controversial call in a previous game against the Detroit Pistons, where a phantom foul was called on Antetokounmpo. The referees later admitted that both calls were mistakes. Meanwhile, former NBA player Gilbert Arenas continues to criticize Rivers, stemming from a personal grudge over being snubbed for an All-Star game selection in 2006 by Rivers. Arenas' longstanding criticism has been fueled further by the Bucks' current poor performance this season.
