A tragic helicopter crash occurred in Houston's Second Ward on Sunday evening, resulting in four fatalities, including a child. The R44 helicopter collided with a radio tower near Engelke and North Ennis Streets, causing the structure to topple and ignite a fire. The helicopter, which had taken off from Ellington Field, was privately owned and not connected to the Houston Police Department. Emergency services, led by the Houston Fire Department, are on the scene, and the area has been sealed off as investigations continue. Residents have been asked to report any debris or human remains found on their properties. The Federal Aviation Administration is set to investigate the cause of the accident.
