Off-Duty Coffee County Deputy Arrested, Terminated for Assault Murfreesboro

An off-duty Coffee County deputy, Miles White, was arrested in Murfreesboro following an altercation at McKnight Park, where he allegedly resisted arrest and assaulted officers. White faced charges including public intoxication, resisting arrest, and two counts of assault on a first responder. The Coffee County Sheriff's Office confirmed White's employment and subsequently terminated him after the incident. Sheriff Chad Partin emphasized the importance of accountability and stated that behavior undermining the office's integrity would not be tolerated. White was booked into the Rutherford County Detention Center on an $11,500 bond. The Sheriff's Office pledged full cooperation with the ongoing investigation by local authorities.
