Clemson Mourns Diondre Overton Killed in Shooting

Former Clemson wide receiver Diondre Overton was killed in a shooting at a party in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the age of 26. Deputies responded to a noise disturbance call around 2:30 a.m. and found Overton dead at the scene despite medical efforts. Overton was a key player in Clemson's national championship victories in 2016 and 2018, and had a notable career with 52 receptions for 777 yards and seven touchdowns over four seasons.
