Bicyclist Killed in Lakewood Crash

A tragic accident in Lakewood, near Cerritos, resulted in the death of a woman on a bicycle after a car collided with a school bus. The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of Del Amo and Norwalk boulevards. The school bus, which had no students on board, was making a left turn when a Honda ran a red light and struck it, subsequently hitting the stationary cyclist. The woman died at the scene, and the bus driver was hospitalized for anxiety. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident, with no arrests reported yet. The identity of the deceased woman has not been released.
