Brady Ellison Wins Silver and Bronze at Olympics

American archer Brady Ellison narrowly missed out on a gold medal in a dramatic shoot-off against South Korea's Kim Woo-jin in the men's individual final at the 2024 Summer Olympics, earning a silver medal instead. This match, which Ellison described as one of the best Olympic finals ever, was decided by a single arrow, with both archers scoring 10 points but Kim's arrow landing closer to the center. Ellison has now won five Olympic medals in his career. Earlier, Ellison teamed up with Casey Kaufhold to win a bronze medal in the mixed team event, marking Kaufhold's first Olympic medal and the first for a U.S. female archer since 1988. Despite her early exit in the individual category, Kaufhold's performance with Ellison showcased her resilience and skill. Both archers have expressed their determination to pursue further success in future competitions, including the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
