Malawi Launches First Fully Solar-Powered Village, Sets Africa Energy Precedent

Africa is experiencing a significant surge in renewable energy initiatives, particularly solar power, which is driving hopes for the continent's green economic transformation. In Malawi, the village of Kasakula became the country's first to achieve 100 percent solar power access, serving as a model for national expansion and aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goal 7.
