Manchester Police Raise Reward to $5,000 in Suspicious Baby Death Case
The Manchester Police Department is investigating the suspicious death of a newborn girl, referred to as Baby Jane Doe, found in Pine Island Pond on March 27. In response to the investigation, the Manchester Crimeline has increased the reward for information to $5,000. Authorities have narrowed the timeline for when the baby was placed in the water to between March 25 and March 27 and are seeking witnesses who may have seen anything unusual during that period. They are particularly interested in anyone who was pregnant during that time but does not have a newborn. Community members are encouraged to submit tips through a dedicated hotline or anonymously via the CrimeLine. The police have expressed gratitude for the contributions made by the public thus far.
