Titans Name Rookie QB Cam Ward One of Seven 2025 Captains

The Tennessee Titans have named seven team captains for the 2025 season, including rookie quarterback Cam Ward, who is the first rookie captain since 2015. Ward, the first overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, has impressed teammates with his leadership throughout the offseason, training camp, and preseason. Joining him as captains are wide receiver Calvin Ridley, running back Tony Pollard, linebacker Cody Barton, safety Amani Hooker, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, and long snapper Morgan Cox. Simmons is serving his fifth consecutive year as captain and will wear a gold "C" patch, while Cox is a three-time captain. Several captains, including Barton and Ward, are new to leadership roles this season, helping head coach Brian Callahan in his efforts to change the team culture. The captains were announced at the Titans' Captains Dinner, an event supporting the Titans Foundation and ONE Community philanthropic initiatives.
