David Gilmour Launches World Tour in Rome

David Gilmour has launched his 'Luck and Strange' world tour, kicking off at Rome's Circus Maximus, where he performed a set featuring six new songs and 12 classics from Pink Floyd. This marks Gilmour's first full live performance in eight years, showcasing his new album which has debuted at number one in the UK. The setlist included iconic tracks such as 'Wish You Were Here,' 'Breathe,' and 'Comfortably Numb,' reflecting his earlier reservations about revisiting Pink Floyd's 70s music. The live band includes both seasoned musicians and newcomers, with Gilmour's daughter Romany making guest appearances. Following Rome, Gilmour will continue his tour in London and the USA, while fans eagerly await the chance to experience his legendary sound live. Additionally, Sublime with Rome is set to perform their final California show as part of their Farewell Tour at Gallagher Square on November 23, 2024.
