HarbourView Equity Partners has acquired a stake in the music catalog of Kelly Clarkson, including some of her most iconic hits such as "Since U Been Gone," "Because of You," "Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)," "Behind These Hazel Eyes," and "Underneath the Tree." Clarkson, a three-time Grammy Award winner and the inaugural winner of American Idol, expressed gratitude for HarbourView's commitment to preserving and supporting her music for future generations. The deal aligns with HarbourView’s strategy of investing across the entertainment sector, complementing Clarkson’s multi-platform career, which includes her successful television presence and Las Vegas residency. Financial terms and specific rights involved in the transaction were not disclosed. HarbourView’s portfolio already includes catalogs from notable artists like T-Pain, Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie, and Nelly.
