GEMS Education Launches $100 Million School in Dubai

GEMS Education is set to launch its most ambitious project, the $100 million School of Research and Innovation (SRI), in Dubai Sports City, scheduled to open in August 2025. The 47,600 square meter campus will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including an NBA-standard basketball court, a Premier League-quality football field, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool, alongside advanced learning technologies like AI-driven personalized systems and robotics labs. Enrollment fees will range from AED 116,000 to AED 206,000 depending on the year group, with a 20% discount for founding families in the 2026 academic year. SRI aims to offer an enhanced British curriculum and will initially serve students from Foundation 1 to Year 6, expanding to Year 7 and 8 in its second year. The school also emphasizes a robust extracurricular program, including subjects like computer science, artificial intelligence, and esports, while fostering partnerships with industry leaders to enhance real-world learning experiences. GEMS Education envisions SRI as a transformative educational environment that sets new global benchmarks in education.
