Jeremy Allen White Voices Rotta the Hutt in Mandalorian Film

Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in 'The Bear,' has been cast to voice Rotta the Hutt, the son of Jabba the Hutt, in the upcoming film 'The Mandalorian and Grogu,' set for release on May 22, 2026. The film, directed by Jon Favreau, will continue the storyline from the Disney+ series featuring Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin and Grogu, also known as Baby Yoda. Rotta, also referred to as 'Stinky,' previously appeared in the 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' animated series, and his character may navigate the power vacuum left after Jabba's death in 'Return of the Jedi.' Sigourney Weaver will also join the cast in an undisclosed role. With principal photography completed, fans speculate about Rotta's potential as an antagonist or ally in the film's narrative. This release marks the first theatrical Star Wars film since 'The Rise of Skywalker' in 2019.
