Among the deceased are former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, several medical students, and 53 British nationals. The sole survivor, British national Vishwaskumar Ramesh, is recovering in hospital. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the crash site, met with survivors, and called the devastation 'heartbreaking.'
