Oscar Nuñez Confirms 'The Office' Spinoff Set for May 2024

Oscar Nuñez has confirmed he will reprise his role as Oscar Martinez in the upcoming Peacock spinoff of The Office, currently titled 'The Paper,' which follows the original show's documentary crew as they film at a struggling Midwestern newspaper. While Nuñez is the only original cast member announced so far, he revealed during a Today show appearance that episodes are already in the editing stage. Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer, though not returning as characters, visited the set and expressed their excitement about seeing both old crew members and Nuñez involved. The new series, created by Greg Daniels and executive produced by Michael Koman, will maintain the signature mockumentary style of the original show. Cast members for the follow-up include Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key. No premiere date has been announced yet, but more details are expected to be revealed soon.
