Brij Bhushan Singh Reiterates Congress Conspiracy Allegations

Former BJP MP and ex-Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has accused the Congress, particularly the Hooda family, of orchestrating a conspiracy against him using wrestlers Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia as political tools. Singh, who faces sexual harassment charges from several female wrestlers, likened the situation to the Mahabharata, accusing the Hoodas of dishonoring 'daughters and sisters' for political gains. In response, Punia criticized Singh's derogatory remarks about Phogat's Olympic performance, defending her and condemning Singh's mentality. The controversy has intensified with Phogat and Punia joining the Congress ahead of the Haryana assembly elections, a move Singh claims validates his accusations of a politically motivated plot. The BJP leader has vowed to campaign against them if permitted by his party.
