Michail Antonio begins rehabilitation in Dubai after leg injury

Michail Antonio, the West Ham forward, is traveling to Dubai to continue his rehabilitation following a serious car accident in December that resulted in a broken leg. The 34-year-old was airlifted to the hospital after his £260,000 Ferrari collided with a tree, leaving him trapped for over 45 minutes. He underwent surgery and has since expressed gratitude for being alive, reflecting on the fragility of life in a heartfelt statement. Antonio will spend nearly two weeks at a training facility in Dubai and is expected to return to London on February 20. His current contract with West Ham expires in June, and the club is considering whether to extend it as he recovers. Fellow striker Niclas Fullkrug is also in Dubai for his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.
