Second Love Island Star Questioned by Police After Phone Theft Allegation

Dejon Noel-Williams, a 26-year-old semi-professional footballer and contestant on Love Island 2025, was voluntarily questioned by London police after a woman accused him of stealing her phone during a night out. This incident makes Dejon the second contestant this season to be questioned by police, following Kyle Ashman, who was axed from the show after being involved in a machete attack but was also released without charges. ITV confirmed they were aware of Dejon's incident before he joined the show and stated that contestants undergo rigorous background screening, including DBS checks. Dejon emphasized that he was never arrested, spoke to the police voluntarily to clarify the situation, and found the damaging claims about him upsetting.
