Ohio Father Charged with Child Endangerment

Anthony Gallina, a 36-year-old father from Kansas, Ohio, has been charged with endangering children after allegedly leaving his three young daughters unattended at Cedar Point amusement park. The incident occurred on August 17, when a woman found a 2-year-old girl playing alone near the Magnum XL-200 roller coaster, and later discovered a 4-year-old in a wagon without adult supervision. Gallina admitted to leaving his 8-year-old daughter in charge of her younger siblings while he rode roller coasters, but police determined he had left them alone multiple times throughout the day. Although he claimed to have only been gone for a few minutes, the rides were shut down for at least 20 minutes while he was in line. Gallina has pleaded not guilty and was released on his own recognizance, with the incident reported to the Department of Job and Family Services.
