Swansea City Agrees £1.5m Deal for Northern Irish Midfielder Galbraith

Swansea City have agreed a transfer deal to sign Northern Ireland international Ethan Galbraith from Leyton Orient for a fee reported to be around £1.5 to £1.6 million, pending final confirmation. The 24-year-old midfielder, a former Manchester United academy player, impressed in League One last season with six goals and seven assists, and is expected to return to his natural central midfield role at Swansea. Galbraith's signing reflects Swansea's intent to strengthen their midfield following the retirement of Joe Allen and the departure of Matt Grimes, while also ending their pursuit of Nottingham Forest's Lewis O'Brien.
