Multiple Hit-and-Runs: Fatalities and Injuries Reported

An elderly cyclist in his 80s was seriously injured after being struck by a white BMW on the A41 between Kings Langley and Watford, with the driver assisting police at the scene. In a separate incident in Gurgaon, a 30-year-old water tanker driver, Vinod Kumar, died following a hit-and-run at the Sector 42 underpass, with police registering a case under negligence-related sections. Meanwhile, another cyclist, Surender Kumar, was killed in a hit-and-run at the light point of Sector 24-25 in Chandigarh; the car driver fled, and a police case has been filed to apprehend the absconding driver. Additionally, in Chandigarh, Rajinder Kumar was seriously injured in a separate accident involving a high-speed collision near the CBI office, with the driver arrested and later released on bail.
